I wanted to paint something that to me depicts being a woman....
I did not feel it necessary to include the face or head, the torso for me conveyed the image of youthful beauty.
The blossom to the sides symbolic of beauty in bloom.
It was part of a small series I painted that also included a more mature figure perhaps after childbirth.
This painting is sold and is currently in Sweden.
It is work of a very delicate brush. all the hues of all the colours used have created their desired effect making the painting so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNobody but a woman, can describe her that very way this artist does....this painting gives me the chill, and I can feel my feminity through it. An advantage the artist has as a woman
