Painting the nudes, male or female, has aways been a genre that has attracted attention of the artists and the art buyers alike. As the style of painting the nude figures, especially the female nudes, has been changing constantly, the artists have to face newer and newer challenges. Here the artist Lavinia Young seems to have accepted that challenge; and she has appreciably succeeded in her efforts.
